"Who Owns Technology, Owns The Business"

On 4 July, the Vipservice media centre hosted the first ever event which united all developer teams of the Holding. That included over 40 people and 6 independent travel projects:  Biletix, Portbilet, Paxport, VipConnect, TicketMe and the brand new HotelStar. The key objective of the meeting was to create an inside community of Vipservice specialists who create smart products.

"We've had developer expertise for a long time and that's what made our projects possible. Today it's the foundation of an important part of Vipservice operations – commercial development.  We want to turn this area of business into a professional community, a platform for sharing ideas and launching complex synthetic projects which unite several developer teams," said Irina Solovyeva, Executive Director of Vipservice.

During the staff party, the Holding's "best brains" got a chance to meet each other, find out what's behind the scenes of their colleagues' online systems, and share their professional opinions about the future of the IT industry.  

"IT is our future. The market is fighting for brains, for talent. It's true that who owns technology, owns the modern business. So everyone who's here today is the future of Vipservice Holding," said Igor Konstantinov, CEO of Biletix.

In the end of the event, developers took part in an exciting intellectual game which tested their knowledge of the Vipservice IT products. The quiz winner, VipConnect team, earned a basket of "vitamins." And the winning team member with the most correct answers received a certificate for a two-night stay at a St Petersburg hotel. All developers were gifted branded sweatshirts, and some also had interesting conversations with members of other Vipservice projects during the buffet.
