Vipservice's MICE Operations Director Alena Eivel wins the capital's tourism award

Alena Eivel, MICE Operations Director at Vipservice Corporate Business, has won an award for her contribution to the development of business tourism and tourist potential in Moscow.

On January 30, the Moscow Tourism Committee selected 15 winners of the hospitality industry award for 2023, across 10 nominations. The award recipients included employees of business tourism operators and travel companies, tour guides, hoteliers, and the personnel of Moscow's tour providers and cultural institutions popular with travelers.

The awards for the Russian capital's best tourism professionals have been running for over 20 years. The first such prize was given out in 2004, and in 2022, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin designated the tourism awards as their own separate ceremony.

Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina commented on the award ceremony: "All winners are real professionals with many years of experience working for Moscow's betterment". According to her, the capital's tourism awards celebrate the creation of new tourist products and services, as well as recognize improvements in services and infrastructure quality and the introduction of best practices and digital technologies.

Alena Eivel, MICE Operations Director at Vipservice Corporate Business, also commented: "Winning the capital's tourism award is great motivation to develop and move forward.
