Three employees of the holding were awarded commemorative medals from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Director of the company Aleksandr Spirin, Executive Director of the holding Irina Solovyeva, and Manager of the project on issuing military travel documents in Portbilet Igor Strukov were awarded the commemorative jubilee medal "100 Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Army and Fleet." The project on the implementation of electronic registration of military travel documents (MTD) in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is run by the Vipservice Holding together with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The first steps in automation of issuing military travel documents were taken by Vipservice back in 2014. In 2016, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Vipservice ran a trial issue of air tickets based on military travel documents in several military units of our country. Its success allowed the company already in early 2017 to offer the market a function of selling passenger transportation services to the military based on the military travel documents in the online system Portbilet 2.0. As a result, all labor-intensive processes, except for filling the back side of MTD, have been automated.

Vipservice believes that paper military travel documents of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will be substituted by electronic documents in the foreseeable future, and the company does its best to achieve it. A huge amount of work is ahead, and it will result in economic benefits for the Ministry of Defense and a new level of service for the military, who will forget about paper forms and ticket queues.
